Spent just one night - great view of the river. Superb room service. Friendly, helpful staff. Concierge lounge has a very nice breakfast. Allow plenty of time retrieving your car from valet parking - made me late for a meeting. It is also somewhat difficult to find the entrance to this hotel - could be better marked. It is a... More

Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center is a first class hotel. As one might expect, its room rates reflect the fact that it is first class lodging. The rooms are kept exceptionally clean. They are spacious and equipped with totally modern furniture and fixtures. Each room is provided with an ironing board and iron. A hair dryer is available as... More

I booked this hotel because my customer is onsite. It is very convenient with many dining choices. The room was not as good as other Marriott hotels I have stayed at. I was disappointed in the room size and there is no closet. At least there wasn't in the room I was in. A little hard to travel on business... More

The Marriott at the Renaissance Center in Downtown Detroit is a shining light in a largely drab city. It rises majestically to over 70 floors, with breathtaking views of the city and the Detroit River from many of the rooms on the upper floors. The suites are graciously decorated. The bed is superb. The entire Renaissance Center, with its six... More

found it to be a fascinating place. Very nice, and most unique hotel I've ever been in. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Place was clean. My son's and husbands loved looking at all the cars. hard to explain, but if you are a car buff... definitely best place to stay, ever.

A hotel filled with suprises that included GM Cars on exhibit and a hugh food court on the lower level that had a vast selection of fast foods. The rooms were very nice, the bed was heavenly and everything was very, very clean. Check-in was a little slow but the clerks were very pleasant. We had to call the bellman... More

Quick business trip and we wanted access to the Renaissance center so this was the perfect location. Location is the biggest asset and the easy access to a few great restaurants as well as the comfortable atmosphere of the lobby bar area. Rooms were as you would expect, clean comfortable, normal Marriott quality

I stayed here for business several times and the location is great! No need to order room service because the hotel is close to many nice restaurants and the view in the concierge look is really nice. The area around the hotel is clean and there is even a CVS located in the same building. The rooms are standard Marriott... More

Stayed here when going to a Red Wings game. It was great. Had easy access to the People Mover, which went right up to Joe Louis. We had a room on the 51st (I believe) floor and the view was great. Could see Comerica, Ford Field, and Joe Louis; all from our room. Staff was helpful and the bar served... More
