Good Location and service, usually I have found Holiday Inn situated in any corner of the city, but here in Detroit it was close to the River, metro, Museum etc. Service is fine, but their cab service is so good. Breakfast is good, and rooms are big enough. Pool in the top most floor has good views.

The room looked like it was not vacuumed in a couple days. The bed skirting had a big stain on it. The biggest complaint. Was the noisy doors on all room. As the slam shut you could heareverytime. Some one left there room. Stayed at other H.I.Expresses and this was the only one like it.

Shuttle service by Ricky was great! I appreciated the helpful information and suggestions provided and the friendly interaction. The front desk service by Rachel Murdoch and staff was excellent!! As it was my first trip ever to Michigan, I really appreciated info and advice shared. Also the last minute accommodations. The ladies with the breakfast provide great service as well.

The first thing you notice pulling up to the Detroit Holiday Inn Express is the Westin next door. I usually don't have hotel envy, but, well, this Holiday Inn is a drab-looking vertical cube.
