We visit this State Park at least a couple of times each week. The beach is beautiful and the view outstanding! The park is always clean - even in the winter. We love to run or walk on the beach. The cabins that rent out are rustic- our favorite is by the picnic area.

We were here last Sunday night. Our campsite was clean and right on the beach. We would definitely come back. Short walk to the cute town of Harrisville. The other campers we met were friendly. We camp in a 30 ft. motorhome and had no problems getting in or out.

We stayed on a beach access spot, it was beautiful! Lake access spots and outer rim spots offer a bit more privacy, the middle spots are more open to the adjacent lots but offer easy access for camper trailers. There are 2 bathroom buildings, older, but they kept them pretty clean. I think they cleaned them 2 times a day.... More

Nice campground. Easy to get to beach right off campground. There's also a day use area. Rangers were very friendly. Kids programs were cute. Nice ice cream shop just out entrance. Bathrooms need updating. No family showers like some other state parks.

This is a family favorite year after year. The beach is clean and well maintained. Bathrooms are clean with room for changing clothes. The water in Lake Huron is cold but the kids love it! This is our 8th year returning to enjoy the beach.

Camping @ it's best! Clean park, beach, camp sites & restrooms. Could use updated facilities but was adequate for our stay. Quiet hours were enforced & enjoyed meeting new people from all over.

Wife and I just took our 15 month old daughter camping for the first time from Saturday June 9th thru Wednesday June 13th and was amazed at what a fantastic place Harrisville State Park was. The beach was long and nice(water was still a bit chilly this early in summer) We had site #133 which was gigantic, plenty of room... More

we arrived in the fall after school had started . The park was less than 1/4 full. Great walks through the trails and along the beach.

We just returned from a 5 day stay over the fourth of july holiday at Harrisville State Park and it was a terrific campground that we will definitely return to. The park had lots of mature trees and most of the sites still had nice grassy areas, The park also has a wonderful paved walking/biking trail that runs the length... More

We recently camped at Harrisville State Park from 7/29 - 8/1/06 at site #38. Nice site that is somewhat secluded. The site is appx. 50' wide by appx. 22' deep. Sloops toward a small creek that runs along the back of the site. The area on the site where one would pitch a tent or park a small trailer is... More
