We've stayed in Mackinaw City several times, and this is by far our favorite hotel. It was very clean. I've never been a fan of this chain, but this hotel has changed my mind. Wonderful stay! The bed could be a little more comfortable, but other than that it's worth a visit.

Stayed here for the night before a class trip to Mackinaw Island. 10 moms and their children and we all complained the next day about our beds being uncomfortable, breakfast was terrible (hardly anything to eat), and 2 out of the 10 had little red bugs in their beds (bedbugs?). We stayed there last summer(2011) when we went to the the car show in St. Ignace. Many more places to eat and shop and easy access to the Island!

We don't expect a 5 star hotel for a one night stay before we head over to the Island, and this place worked just fine. Nomal Super 8...I would use the word adequate for a place to sleep and get ready for the Island. That's all I expected and that's what we got. No complaints.

We stayed in a suite as we had our family along. There was only one small window in the main room of the suite. The other room had no windows. The room was much nicer than expected The hotel is very clean and the staff is courteous and friendly. Plan to go back soon!

Our room was clean, and had furniture upgrades that had been done recently. Second floor perfect view of the bridge. The staff were not helpfull or pleasant to deal with.
