It's the staff who will make your stay memorable in this warm and friendly hotel. From the moment of my arrival, nothing was too much trouble. All my (many) requests were greeted cheerfully and eagerly by all staff at all times. The rooms are the nicest I've seen in Nepal (more like a boutique style) and very reasonably priced. Although... This is the most impressive hotel we stayed in Nepal. It is located right next to the Pottery Square and is within a very short walk from the Durbar Square. Yet our room is so quiet that we could get good rest. It is spacious too with good view to Pottery Square. Hotel amenities were provided that you seldom find... More

We stayed from 8 - 10 Apr 2012, to coincide with the Bisket Jatra (Chariot Festival) in Bhaktapur. The rooms are great, very clean, especially the toilet! The room is really large, even good enough for you to do some yoga poses inside! And most of all, the owner of this hotel, Mr Anil - you really can count on... More

My friends and I were stuck in Bhaktapur during a Nepali festival and every hotel we went to was booked. We happend to meet the owner of Cosy Hotel and he invited us to stay. Very affordable and they bent over backwards to make sure that our stay was comfortable. They brought us in an extra bed, which was very... More

As our last hotel in Nepal, this one was excellent for it's value. Wooden floors, continuous warm water from a strong shower, double windows and excellent staff - and this all in the center of Bhaktapur, a very beautiful (and not so noisy) town just outside Kathmandu. The small clean restaurant provided excellent dinner, snacks and the included a-la carte... More

Excellent stay with great windows in our room looking out onto real local life. Old building with modern super clean interior. Great rooftop cafe and comfy clean sofas to relax in chill out room. Host is amazingly helpful and friendly. Staff are very nice and will help with any requests about sightseeing. Tv with DVD memory stick movies, ask at... More

After traveling for a month in Nepal, we had pretty much given up hope of finding a hotel even semi-close to Western standards, so we were really pleasantly surprised by this little gem in the village of Bhaktapur. We had been given this recommendation by our jeep safari tour guide, Yubaraj, at the Nature Tour Guide Office in Chitwan. First... More

Cosy hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Bhaktapur. Where all the other guest houses look more or less the same, Cosy hotel looks like a design hotel and is very comfortable. The matrasses of the beds are twice as thick as usual and there was always hot water! The staff is very helpfull and friendly. We have enjoyed... More

We stayed 7 nights at the Cosy hotel and honestly can't wait to get back there. Very clean rooms, bathroom, common room and restaurant roof top. The staff is some of the friendliest we've come across while traveling the world. They are more than accommodating, honest, sincere, happy and very eager to help out in any way. They helped plan... Cosy hotel was really great during our entire 7 day stay. Clean rooms and bathrooms, the best and consistently hot showers we have had in the 2 months we have been in Nepal. Also, likely the nicest people working here with great recommendations on local sights. Comfy beds and sheets. The location is also really excellent. Great value, particularly if... More
