I searched thru the Visit Tansen website and found Tansen Hill Cottage. The pics looked good and the owner spoke very well. Unfortunately he failed to mentioned the horrible access to the place, plus the whole cottage had mould on the ceilings. It's definitely the best place to stay in Tansen, and Tansen is well worth a visit, especially if you're on the road from Pokhara to/from Bardia or Lumbini. Food is very good............Indian dishes were delicious. It's overpriced given the rooms and facilities............but it's the only hotel with the view.
