Really liked my stay there. Very clean. Safe. Near everything worthy in town. The hostess was very nice and explained me that this Hostel used to be a brothel after the revolution ! ;) Just ask her some tips about Leon and surroundings, she knows all about it. I recommend the Iguana when in Leon. Going back there soon.

Simple hostel, but had a good sleep. The bed room was small, but the matrass was ok, and so were the shower and airco. The place had no atmosphere at all, No travelers vibe there. I would stay here if I go back to Leon. The rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly and the relax area is cozy and nice. We only had breakfast here and it was really good. It has a good location and it felt safe. It's a quiet hotel. I would recommend this hostel.

The place is clean, seems safe, rooms are decent and staff friendly enough but it kind of lacks any character and I thought it was a little overpriced for what you get. I think you can find better places with more character for less $

We had lunch at Iguana Cafe today and were extremely disappointed. The paninis we ordered were terrible! The bread was dry, there was very little meat on the sandwiches and there was no type of spread such as mayonnaise, etc. on the panini. We visited Leon in September 2011. We didn't actually stay in the Iguana Hostel and Cafe but we did spend quite a bit of time here.
