The Chateau de Vau itself is a charming building. The settings are lush and there are lots of beautiful places in the vicinity to discover, like the castles of Villandry or Ussé. If you are looking for a quiet and charming inn in the countryside with good access to the magnificent chateaux of the Loire, this is a great place. My wife, my daughter and I stayed 4 nights at Chateau Du Vau. It is a marvelous place, a beautiful chateau, very calm location, with nicely decorated, big rooms (old furnitures). During our trip through the Loire valley the Chateau du Vau surely was one of the highlights. Great surroundings & garden, historic flair and nice chambers plus a sympathetic host. The only downer was the relatively high room rate.
