This hotel is stunning like a journey back in time but with all modern facilities. Every thing about it was first class the staff the food and the setting. An ideal location to visit the war memorials and cemetreys and lovely beaches.

This really ancient building has been beautifully restored to become a glorious characterful hotel with all mod cons. The staff are all delightful and friendly, the food is delicious and the rooms are all individually decorated and very comfortable. We had a "superior" ground floor room and our en suite had it's own door to the outside! Only 5k from... More

Visited this hotel for both pleasure/business. This is ideal hotel to visit with the wife or to really come back from office environment and being able to prepare next day meeting in a relaxing environment. Ideal starting place to visit Dday sites + only a c 20mn drive from city center of Caen. Very historical/old style and romantic but still... More

From its grand entrance, beautiful courtyard to its elegant rooms and helpful staff, our stay couldn’t have been better. Our Room at the very top of this chateau gave us a nice view of the surrounding country. The beamed ceiling, comfortable sitting room, and the warm well equipped bathrooms made one feel like a Royalty, so much so my wife... More

We stayed two nights with three kids and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant is excellent with lot of apple, pork and Calvados themed dishes. We actually slept in the new block half a mile down the road that is very well converted n equipped.

We booked two nights here in April 2013 and decided to stay for an extra night on the spot since we just fell in love with the place. The rooms are unique and very clean in their historical setting. The whole hotel immediately makes you feel at home. We enjoyed a brilliant breakfast every morning that left nothing to the... More

We have just returned from this very lovely Hotel. We stayed in Room 21 which was in the main part of the Hotel. It backed onto the rear garden and was on the first floor. It was small but cosy, had a colour television and tea making facilities. The bathroom again was small but adequate with a bath and shower.... More

We traveled with relatives to see the D-day beaches and this location was perfect. We had 2 Rooms which were very spacious, clean and charming. Food was terrific! I had read that this 13th century farm house had been occupied by the Germans during World War II. When we were checking out we commented on the nearby brick wall, asking... More

My wife an I stayed here Oct 2003 and are planning a return trip here Oct 3013. Great location for visiting WWII batlegrounds. Also close for touring Caen, Bayeux and St. Michel and other wonderful French country side places. Hotel is charming, staff extremely friendly and accommodating, restaurant quaint with great menu.
