We spent a spur of the moment night at the Rabbit Run and loved it. The room was furnished in in Pottery Barn style, no fussy lace, no musty old building smell, fluffy pillows and comforter. In room real coffee/espresso maker with real coffee! Fresh cream, choice of sugars, fresh oj. Mini frig held our own refreshments. LInda Jo and... More

Thanks for the great review and thanks for the heads-up about the bikes; we'll get them in for a spring tune-up. More

June 23rd.... It was our very first time to a bed & breakfast. We really enjoyed it. Rodney and Linda Jo were the best hosts. The "Ginkgo" room was very comfortable and decorated beautifully!! We were there celebrating our anniversary. The property and coy pond were taken care of with a lot of love. We sat on our deck and... More

2nd time staying the weekend at RRI to celebrate our anniversary. We really enjoyed it, even more than last year. We chatted with the owners several times and they were very welcoming and helpful. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and cheese and crackers, which we promptly devoured. We stayed in the Seagrass room upstairs. The rooms are... More

03.11.12- 03.14.12 My husband and I were looking for a quick (2 hr drive) and peaceful retreat from Chicago and we found it at Rabbit Run Inn. The beach is nearby (Cherry Beach or Grand Mere State Park to hike to the beach), the woods (Warren State Park, no one else there the whole afternoon) or nearby Sawyer (small town... More

Our family stayed here for a last-minute Fall getaway. It is, hands down, the best hotel/inn in the area. Very quaint - beautifully decorated and immaculate. The owners are great and have thought of every little detail. We especially loved the orange juice served in jars and the morning pastries. We will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I were very pleased with the Rabbit Run. We spent our one year anniversary weekend there in July and had so much fun. The rooms are gorgeous! When my husband said we were going to a B&B I cringed and thought about a dirty house in the woods with granny print drapes...but no! Rabbit Run is modern... More

the rooms are beautiful and very clean... with comfy beds and a nice wet bar. however, we did not feel at all like "guests". even the dingiest motel will offer bottled water (considering the green initiatives, i would have been pleased with purified water in the mini-fridge), whereas RRI had nothing in the fridge except some cream for the coffee... We are concerned that Rabbit Run Inn did not meet the expectations of these guests. It is always our top priority to make our guests comfortable and to ensure that their stay with us is memorable. We regret that we did not know of their concerns while they were staying at the inn. Bottled water is not placed in the... More

The place really is charming with four rooms available for stays that are spacious and very comfortable. A queen sized bed covered in soft feather bedding just begs to be jumped on. A kitchenette provides a small fridge just right for keeping snacks and ‘adult’ beverages in. It is also stocked with milk, juice and butter for the pastries that... More

My husband and I just got back from an anniversary weekend at RRI (the second time we have stayed at the property), and it was absolutely wonderful. Linda Jo and Rodney do a great job of making guests feel welcome, as well as providing information regarding local restaurants, activities, etc. I cannot say enough about the the rooms. The rooms...
