This B&B is off the beaten path. Actually located on a working farm. Very nice hosts. Breakfast was made to order. Quite good. The rooms are very neat, the bath being quite clean and efficient. You need to have a car in order to get to town for dining. It is very peaceful and quiet.

Lovely outdoor space with a bbq. Only disappointed was the WiFi whilst free which should be a given now a day's the signal was very weak and intermittent, not good enough... More

It was a pleasure meeting you and having you stay with us. We were so pleased to hear that most of your visit was enjoyable, but obviously very sorry to hear that the WiFi was a problem as it is something we try and keep an eye on. It seems that this does happen from time to time - not... More

This is a lovely and very good value B&B. Rachel is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and beautifully presented to a standard I would expect in a good boutique hotel. I hope I have a reason to stay again. One of the best breakfasts I have ever been offered and a choice of cereals which was second to... More

Thank you so much for a very kind review. It was a pleasure to meet you and very glad your stay was so enjoyable. I think the Easter freeze gave us a bit of a fright - heating-wise! That certainly taught me a very quick lesson. Many thanks again and we might see you again, Rachel More

Having stumbled on the Old Piggery while planning a group getaway, I found it to be the most comfortable and friendly B &B I have ever visited. Great quality accommodation, food and service. This is now a regular place for getaways with my sisters and hopefully soon, alone. Rachel and Rob provide a setting that is beautiful and relaxed and... More

Dear Jacky, apologies for the delayed response to your wonderful review. I seem to be taking a long time getting to grips with the joys of tripadvisor! It's always a pleasure seeing you all and we're looking forward to seeing you on your next visit - and hope it continues to live up to your expectations. With best wishes, Rachel More

Excellent accommodation for our short stay. Hosts were helpful and friendly. Rooms were spotless, cosy and spacious. A full choice of breakfasts. Plenty of parking. It is unsuitable for anyone without private transport.

We booked three rooms at The Old Piggery prior to my daughter's wedding on the recommendation of friend. Their web site is great and gives all the details you need. A quick email to the owners and the rooms were booked with the minimum of fuss. The accommodation is in a modern purpose built self-contained building that tastefully blends in... More

A little gem in the middle of wheat fields and very peaceful. Spotlessly clean, in a modern but cosy room with twin beds which were very comfortable. Lovely white towels in the bathroom. Also I didn't need the extra sugar that I took with me for a cuppa in our room as Rachel provides sugar, tea and coffee in little... More
