Pinestead Reef Resort is a wonderful family or romantic get-away! The long, sugar sand beach and beautiful blue waters of the East Bay are the perfect spot to relax, play, swim, or walk. We just love it there and will go again for sure!!

Very nice rooms on the beach. The hotel isn't exactly a five star resort, but it is very nice and the location is one of the best in Traverse City. TC is a beautiful town, and this is a great place to stay and visit the entire area.

We stay at the Pinestead every year. You can't beat the location or view. Love that the rooms now have the plasma tv's. Also, the resort has an indoor pool, so on the bad weather days, the kids still have something to do! They also offer family activities, such as bingo and crafts. Great family resort!
