We have stayed here probably a dozen times. Cost has been $50-$70 a night. An excellent value compared to the Sheraton next door. We stay here when we go to dances at Greysolon Plaza (only one block away). Some things to know are that it is an older style motor in type place, so your hotel room opens right to... More

Great rates for Duluth. Ideal downtown location- walking distance to several great restaurants and bars. Old fashion motor Inn- not luxuriousness if that is what your looking for.

We thought the overall our choice of a place to stay was a good one. we would stay here again if it was another one night stay where we dont plan on being in the room much. it was perfect for that. the room was clean and the bed was decent. (bring your own pillow if you like fluffy ones)... More

This is the best place to stay in Duluth when you're on a budget. Rooms are basic, clean and come equipped with beds and clean linens, bathroom with a shower and clean towels, and a fridge to stash your smoked fish in. It's an easy walk to lots of places: downtown, the Lakewalk, Leif Erickson Park/Rose Garden, the Corner of... More

Me and my fiancée like to stay in the fireplace/whirlpool room. The woodsy themed decor is nice and the king sized bed is so comfortable. We had no complaints about the cleanliness at all and the location is not 'scary' we were able to walk to the Fitgers brewery complex which has alot of really neat shops and the Mexico... More

We stayed here with a group of other couples in mid-October. I had read reviews that talked about illicit activity in the parking lot including pimps, hookers, drug-dealers, and addicts. One review even spoke of a murder taking place in the lot. We witnessed none of that. We experienced a fairly clean room with one exception. When we opened the... More

Stayed here for the Bayfront Bluesfest. Paid extra for a jacuzzi room with a lakeview. Shower door leaked big time! Refrigerator didn't work at all. Air conditioner was challenging but figured out how to get it going. Room needs a lot of updating and maintenance. Prices reasonable if in good shape. Surprised to have someone else's room charge on my... More

good value stay in downtown duluth. Nice room, comfy bed, great shower that reminded me a little of my grandma's house. great water pressure as well! The office area and administration was a little shabby looking, but the price was right and the place was very clean. within walking distance of most everything you'd want to see in duluth.

The location is in downtown Duluth, which provided access to local stores, boutiques, restaurants, public transportation, & Lake Superior, of all things! The motel is very reasonably priced. The staff made my daughters and myself feel welcome. This motel is for the person or people that are traveling for the experience of the city of Duluth, MN. I would recommended... More
