My wife and I stayed at the Thomson House during our stay in Duluth for my wife's 30th birthday and it was the perfect place to stay! The Lake Superior Suite was gorgeous and made us feel at home. It was even nicer than the pictures! We enjoyed the suite and also spending time in the living room and sunroom... More

Our children gave us a gift certificate for our wedding anniversary. It was our first time at a B&B and was a wonderful experience! The house was beautiful, the food amazing, and Tim and Angie were excellent hosts, sharing history of their house and information on things to see and do in Duluth. We wanted to add one of their... I had waited close to 2 years to stay at the A.G. Thompson House and without a doubt, it was worth the wait!! I truly felt like I was coming home the moment I walked through the front door. My boyfriend and I were greeted by two of the sweetest people (Tim and Angie) and throughout our whole stay they... More

This was our first experience with a B&B & we were not disappointed. The whole house was immaculate & had plenty of old charm which is exactly what a B&B should be. Tim & Angie have done a great job keeping with the period of the house. We had to leave a little earlier than we planned & didn't get... More

My husband and I have been to a few B&Bs in the past, but this was our first B&B experience in Duluth, and we were not disappointed. Tim and Angie were definitely the kindest and most informative proprietors of a B&B that we've ever met. They gave us a bunch of ideas for sightseeing, dining, and barhopping. When we were... More

My wife and I stayed two nights in the Superior Suite for our one-year anniversary. The room was a great place -- we loved the nautical theme, the furniture and the space in general. There is technically a view of the lake from that suite, but because it's on ground level the view is somewhat obscured by the trees, which... More

My wife and I have been to AG Thompson house on three occasions now, and stayed at a different room each time. I swear that each room has been better than the last and each time I'm not sure how that is possible. The proprietors, Angie and Tim, are absolute dears and are well and truly dedicated to making each... More

Despite foggy weather in Duluth, we had a wonderful getaway at the A.G. Thompson House. With such a lovely inn and gracious hosts, we couldn't go wrong! Breakfast was fabulous! The room was beautiful and cozy. Tim and Angie made us feel so welcome! We will definitely return. Next time, I hope to enjoy Angie's spectacular gardens.

What a wonderful way to spend a weekend!!! Being greeted right away by Angie in the driveway makes you feel very welcome. The suite was awesome and more so with the added special touches they have. The breakfasts were wonderful and loved the room delivery, another added bonus since I'm not a early riser. We will definitely be back for... More
