Called several months in advance to reserve 2 cabins for a family reunion. I will say that from the start, customer service was mediocre. Not anticipating the fast travel, we did arrive 1 1/2 hours early. The manager said "Check in is at 3 pm." I thought I caught a hint of irritation in his voice but I ignored it... More

We were at Appledoorn's Sunset Bay in July had a great time lots of fun family activities, swam in a very clean, clear sandy beach, enjoyed a roaring camp fire in the evenings, and also cooked a great Minnesota BBQ, in the community BBQ!
