“Clean but worn out.”

We stayed here 2 nights and the motel is clean but very dated. Also, the motel is for sale. Beds are not comfortable unless you prefer to roll to the middle...even then.

I decided to give this place a try based on the novelty factor. It claims to be America's first underground motel. The folks who run this motel are very nice, and the price was only $39 +tax. The motel was built around 1982, and it shows in the decor. The rooms have been redecorated, in a wildly tasteless paint scheme.... More
