We had booked a one night stay at the hotel about 3 weeks prior to our March 31st stay. Our sports team were all staying at this hotel. Our after 7pm check-in was halted due to an overbooked hotel and some unexpected damaged rooms. We were directed to another property down the road. I would have expected the GrandStay to... More

The place has a very friendly homey feel to it. Nice pool. Small convenience store. Very pleasant staff. The rooms are equipped with a full kitchen including a dishwasher. Ideal for the longer stay traveler. The manager told me one woman had lived there since the day they opened. The staff are extremely pleasant. I like the separate bedroom concept... More

We traveled with my husband's brother and his family and were looking for a reasonably priced place to stay that had 1 room suites so that the adults could talk after the kids went to sleep. This was a great choice! The staff were very accommodating to get our two families rooms across from each other. The kitchen area in... More

My father and I stayed here on a bike trip. They let us bring our bikes into the room, and there was plenty of room to store them there. Having a separate bedroom was very pleasant, and the room was clean and very nice. We slept well and were not disturbed. The breakfast was among the best chain motel breakfasts... More

We stayed here for a weekend of visiting friends in the area. The place wasn't that bad. The rooms are nice and spacious. The breakfast in the morning is a standard free breakfast. The pool is way too small. The hottub fits about 5 people and the swimming pool about 7. There were a LOT of families with children there... More

miserable experience, the breakfast sucked! i felt like i was eating leftovers! The manager lady had no respect and treated her employees like dirt. They also had no pool safety and the chlorine burned your eyes just by walking by the pool ! I would recommend a 3 star hotel over this shack. Don't waste your time.

First of all, Grandstay has TERRIFIC AAA rates. They were almost $40 less than their regular rate, which made our reservation there a no-brainer. Now that we are traveling with our college aged daughter we ONLY stay at suite hotels. The room itself is nice; no complaints, although I wish someone would make a comfy sofa bed. It was, however,... What an amazing "extended stay" property. I checked in 2 days prior to Christmas and the hotel was decorated so nicely for the holidays. The staff were great and there wasn't anything that they wouldn't have done to make your stay more comfortable. The continental breakfast and the 24/7 coffee in the breakfast area was wonderful. The convenience of having... More

RECOMMENDED. This all suite hotel with separate (though) small bedroom, kichenette and living area is clearly for the longer stay vistor. Located next to a busy highway, a bit of road noise all night. A light breakfast is available. Internet access in the rooms. Furnishings on the cheap side though the hotel (as of date of review) is fairly new.... More
