The Motel 6 in Rochester MN is going through several changes. To start new TV's! 32" flat screens, and more important new beds!!! With more new additions on the way. I highly recommend this Motel for all travelers looking to save money on their trip. Thier head housekeeper Katy was wonderful and helped us with all our requests.

Cheap room, easy access. I don't normally stay at motel 6, but it's the only place I could find that let me bring my dog. The room smelled like a urinal cake. Beds were short and uncomfortable. I slept in a sleeping bag on top of bed for fear of bed bugs. There were cigarette butts behind the night stand.... More

We like to travel and save money also. We have stayed at other Motel 6's now and then. And for the most part is has been OK. But this one was pretty bad! It was supposed to be a non smoking motel. But our room and another family member's room was awful. It was like being right in a bar.... More

We were visiting our son and pay for 3 nights. Our first impresion was, "Hey, it is more than ok for less than 40 bucks", but later we found that the room has "living creatures". Yes, ants everywhere but the most populated place seems the bathroom. The room is very basic, tv, clock alarm, telephone and that is. No cafemaker,... More

I would not stay at this hotel again. It was not very clean, the door would not open and had to give it a good kick to get in. There was blood on the door where someone probably tried to get the deadbolt to work and had hurt themselves. There was no clock radio or coffee pot in the room.... More

We just needed a one night stay and did not want anyplace fancy or expensive. Just a night's sleep. We tried the Motel Six and were very pleased. Everything looked either new or fixed up very well. The motel was very clean and had all the amenities that one comes to expect at places that are more expensive. There were... More

Check in was easy and swift. The clerk asked if we had a room preference, I wish I would have told her not facing the highway, because sure enough, that's what we got. It was very noisy. Thankfully the rest of our experience was fine. The room was bright and very clean, so was the bathroom. There was no bathtub... More

I would have to say that Motel 6 Rochester is in better shape than Motel 6 Duluth, although it was about $5 more per night. ($31 vs. $36). It helps that the motel does not allow smoking in any rooms. My room was clean and in good condition. My only issue was that the motel is next to highway 52,... More

We stayed at the Motel 6 on 19 AVe. N.W. in October 2004 and the room was clean and satisfactory. It had a queen bed, TV, table, and everything was in good condition. If you're looking for inexpensive lodging in Rochester, MN, it's worth your time to check it out. The worst feature was the road construction which required using... More

We stayed here in 2000 and it was horrible. We have stayed at this chain before and have had nice clean rooms usually but not the one in Rochester. The rooms were filthy and I showered with sandals on. Because there were no rubber gloves available, I used kleenex to pick everything up with including the remote control and telephone.... More
