The first room - a dingy dark room where the only window opened onto a banquet room, so opening curtains was out of the question. Filthy carpet, with peeling paint chips on the carpet, not to mention other misc paraphenalia. Towels were a shade of gray/yellow. You could write your name in the dust on top of the toilet tank.... I would not again stay at this hotel. The place is "dingy", the room I had smelled stale (smoke?), the doors in the interior stuck and were open also to the public because of their sticking. My room door would stick open and had to be pulled shut, the lock would not work (it was promptly fixed) and (worst of... More

Lets see..where do I begin? I stayed at this hotel in March for two nights as the president of a college club sports team. I chose the hotel because it is part of Choice Hotels, which is known for a good value. The hotel was also attatched to Perkins (that was the free breakfast) which was nice (though you have... More

Room had a dirty bathroom with dried urine on the toilet, stains all over carpet, peeling wallpaper from water damage, bad smells and I found live bed bugs in my room. Not fit for man or beast. Hotel pool area was full with two birthday parties in a booked hotel. Would give zero stars, however, that is not an option.

I am truly sorry about your experience here at the Quality Inn. Due to the guest complaint, Quality Inn did have Ecolab and the Winona Health Department come and treat the Quality Inn. Neither of them found live bed bugs but we did treat the hotel to put our previous and future guests at ease. I have reports for anyone... More

We had planned just a one night getaway to Winona, and this was one of three hotels (other choices looked worse) with a room left to reserve, so we did. Spent the day wandering our way to Winona (beautiful town/area) and attempted to check in at 6pm. Noticed a huge tarp covering part of the roof...first clue. Halls were dirty,... More

Stayed here because it the only hotel with rooms available. The room was gross and smelled very moldy. The only way we could stand the smell was to leave the outside door open. As an added benefit, we got to meet lots of "friendly" drunks who were wandering the grounds. Carpet was beyond GROSS. Wallpaper was peeling off everywhere..Beds were... More

I would have to agree with Stacey Prieur and kls1 with their comments. This was one of the worst places i have ever stayed in. I was also part of the wedding, which the bride is my little sister. I don't get how I paid for a room in advance and had it booked but couldnt get into my room... More

I found the staff to be friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean (linens & towels), comfortable (new bed) and refreshing (new carpet and remodeling). We all felt well rested in the morning....most important Then we enjoyed a decent meal at Perkins. I thought the room/breakfast was reasonably priced. Great !!! I’ll admit, I was reluctant to stay at this... More

I needed a place to stay for one night, and decided to do Quality Inn because I am a CHOICE member. I told the girl working the front desk that I had a dog with me, and she was very nice and told me that was fine, but that there were specific rooms that were pet friendly. I said that's... More

The Q.I. is a very clean hotel. Our hallways are clean and spotless. Our Pet Friendly rooms are not our new rooms, but all of our rooms are clean and at a very good rate. Our improvements to our property are fantastic and more to come. The weekend this guest was here we had over forty pet owners and not... More
