I chose Heart's Content at random due to the pics on the website. When we arrived we knew we had found a true southern jewel! The house is spacious and easy to relax in. Alex and Sharon are warm, friendly hosts that not only told us to make ourselves at home, but meant it. The room was spacious and inviting.... More

Staying at the Heart's Content Bed and Breakfast was a wonderful experience! The home is beautiful, spacious, and airy. The furnishings are beautiful and authentic to the period of the home. The wrap-around porch is an inviting place to sit and relax with wonderful wicker furniture. The breakfast provided was very good and more than we could have asked for...elegantly... More

We are glad you enjoyed your stay at Heart's Content. Yes, the wallpaper is the original hand-printed paper imported from France by Annie Hossley, the original owner. We consider this wallpaper to be a treasure and are taking steps to preserve it for future generations to enjoy. Sharon and Alex More

I cannot say enough good things about Heart's Content--my husband and I loved every second of it! The home was beautiful and our room and bathroom were decorated to perfection! We enjoyed the antiques and Victorian-era decor, but we also enjoyed the flat-screen TV and cable--it was the best of both worlds. They also had a welcome basket of snacks... More

Heart;s content was our first experience at a Bed and Breakfast. It was a quiet place. We really loved it. It was a beautiful old home. It was still being remodeled but that did not bother us.
