Just spent another great weekend in Hermann and at my favorite B&B. The breakfast menu has changed to a continental breakfast. It was wonderful not having to be to breakfast at a certain time (especially if you tasted a little to much wine the night before). Jerry and Marilyn have done a wonderful job in restoring the stone house. DeFlorin... More

I stayed here with friends in April, and boy, did we pick the right B&B! The Haus was immaculate, and the rooms were charming. Not only did we each have our own room, but we had a living room w/TV to share b/t just ourselves, not w/strangers (this was one of the major reasons we chose this B&B). The bathroom... More

If only all B&B's could have this charm and hospitality. Owners are the best people you will ever meet, breakfasts were to die for (thanks Jerry) and the hospitality was way beyond what is expected (thanks Marilyn). Hermann is a beautiful place to visit but I can honestly say that Deflorin Haus B&B is a little piece of heaven.

Marilyn and I would like to thank everyone for the past good breakfast reviews, but do to the cost of doing a gourmet breakfast and a lot of our guest not able to make it to breakfast while it is still hot, plus not wanting to raise the price of the lodging, we have switch to a continental breakfast. Marilyn and Jerry have done wonders rebuilding the house you have during your stay. It is complete, and it feels just like home. Marilyn went above and beyond picking us up from the train station and driving us to dinner. She even gave us a tour of the cozy town. There is plenty of room in the house, and the... More

A small, restored stone cottage originally built in the 1880's. The husband and wife innkeepers live in the basement of this two-story home but unless it was breakfast time, you would never know they were there. The husband is a retired chef and makes the most incredible breakfasts. Truly a feast for the eyes and belly. They were extremely friendly.... More

The girlfriends and I recently visited Hermann Mo for the Cajun Festival. We had the pleasure of staying at DeFlorin Haus. This establishment was charming with an eclectic mix of antiques. The host, Jerry and Marilyn were gracious and welcoming. The breakfasts were composed of German specialties that were absolutely mouth-watering. Most especially appreciated was the picnic prepared by the... More
