Could be an amazing hotel, great location, nice old building, but it is not !!! Lousy place, way too expensive (110 USD cash) and the rooms and service really suck. There are not many hotels in Sidon/Saida so you will probably end up in this one. Be prepared :-) But the souk behind the hotel is really great and all... More

The hotel in an renovated old building along the sea coast opposite the waterfront. There is ancient authentic market on one side and Sidon Sea Castle in the sea in front of the hotel. Opposite the hotel is an upmarket restaurant on the sea. The waterfront is alive all night with coffee shops serving Turkish coffee and the Hubble Bubble.... More

This could be a great boutique hotel- beautiful old building, old stone walls, right on the harbor with great views, furniture in oriental style and a lift that would not be out of place in a design hotel. At $120 for a triple room, it was the most expensive place we stayed in in Lebanon. Sadly, it was not the... More

Room view was great. Breakfast is reused so be careful (esp if a bee had sit on the food while being served to others, and they top up the same - unhygenic). I had half used lurpak, and wondered if the opened haloumi and lebaneh was topped up and served? They should change to buffet.Half of the fixtures and lights... More

I stumbled upon this place when I didn't feel like driving any more, and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were nice and helpful (except for the guy managing my breakfast, He just wasn't very "energetic," but he did warm my refrigerated bread upon request), and I really liked the location (across from the harbor with free parking, on the... Very poor value for money, dirty sheets, smelly bathroom, noisy staff, horrible town. Give this hotel and the town a very wide berth if you are in Lebanon. The corniche terminates in a huge mountain of rubbish, and the whole seafront area stinks to high heaven.

We stayed at the Al Qualaa for one night. We did not book in advaned and paid USD 120 for a double room incl. breakfast. The location of the hotel is great. Right next to the corniche. The room was nice, but not USD 120. The lift which connects the ground floor with the first floor was right next to... More

To begin with my initial reaction to the hotel was one of suprise and delight as the hotel itself is really quite nice, moroccan theme and interesting decor. There were no reviews of the hotel on trip advisor so we just went with it,there isn't much choice in Saidon anyway. The guy at the desk asked for 100 dollars a night,we said... More

Stayed for 2 nights at the end of our trip round Lebanon. This is a lovely old stone building & inside the rooms you see the bare stone. Lovely furnishings with a Moroccan theme. Almost all rooms have a seaview over looking the Sea Castle. Our stay would have been great & quite romantic if not for the fact we... More
