There are few places to stay in Kirksville and the Holiday Inn Express stands out as the only quality hotel. Clean and bright, queen beds, ample breakfast space. Get an even number room on the top (3rd floor) to face south and enjoy the natural light. A safe reliable hotel choice. More

Nice hotel near Truman State. The front desk was abrupt, efficient, not really friendly. The room was very clean. Breakfast was good. No fruits or veggies and the hard boiled eggs were frozen. Some travellers get quite snooty over economy hotel chains. Travellers pay modest sums and expect 5 star facilities. However, Holiday Inn Express provide excellent value for money: the rooms are adequate, facilities more than reasonable, and free breakfast, sufficient. Spent 2 nights at Holiday Inn weekend of family wedding. A large number of guest were also registered there. They had a great outdoor deck area and a large breakfast room to accommodate hours of mingling. Rooms were clean and updated and staff was very pleasant. More
