My wife and I spent our anniversary at the Amish Bed and Breakfast. It was nice and quaint. Nonetheless, we did not receive breakfast the first morning because they had to take their son to the hospital because of a tree climbing incident. They tried once to contact us by phone (we left our phone at home because we were... More

I'm sad to report that the website for this Bed and Breakfast is full of deceptions. The barn may have been charming once upon a time but that fairy tale has ended. The 'Gift Shop' is empty. There was a few forlorn dusty egg noodle packages for sale & blurry pictures taken from what appears to be from inside a... More

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights during a recent trip. It appears that the towels and other facilities have not been kept up. We had the honeymoon suite and it looked to be from the dark ages. The breakfast supplied was essentially 2 bowls, milk, cereal and fresh whole fruit - based on our own request. Definitely... More

We just spent our 50th anniversary at Amish Country Inn and was treated like gold and if we were the only ones here (they were booked). It was very cold and snowing. John and Carrie the Innkeepers were watching for us to pull in they waved us in to park at the front door of the Inn. They carried our... More

We spent our 21st wedding anniversary at the Amish Country Inn Bed & Breakfast. The owners were very nice and presented a "family" environment, welcoming us with a hearty breakfast both mornings we were there. We weren't looking for a "hotel" atmosphere. We wanted the peace and quiet that comes with a bed & breakfast. Our room was very clean... More

We loved the homey atmoshpere. It fit right in with our trip. While all our family met there no one intruded and left us in the tea room as long as we wanted. They just kept the coffee , drinks and snacks coming. The rooms were charming and oh so clean. Breakfast was perfect and lots of suggestions for day... More

We spent a most wonderful night at the Amish Country Inn in late August 2002. We stayed in "Laura's Room", named for Laura Ingalls Wilder whose homestead is not far. The park-like setting is beautiful. It is so quiet and serene here. There is a gift shop that takes up most of the ground floor along with the dining area.... More
