With very short notice, we had to find a place to stay. Preferably close to the Ferndale airport. A quick search on the web came up with the Candlewycke Inn. I booked over the phone and an hour later we settled into the nicest B&B I have ever been. Megan, the owner, has a wealth of information about the area.... More

Beautiful rooms, amazing food and friendly service make this a wonderful place to stay. Make sure you have at least one dinner here - the imaginative, fresh food is well worth it. More

My husband and I recently had a short vacation in Big Fork, Montana. Friends booked us a room at this bed and breakfast. I was a little leery of a bed and breakfast setting because I had never been to one and thought I would much prefer a hotel. I was so wrong! The Candlewycke Inn and owner, Megan, were... More

What a great place. The innkeeper is such a delight. The place itself is warm and inviting. My room was so comfortable. Breakfast is so fantastic. Megan is a great cook. I will definitely come again. More

We love staying at the Candlewycke! Although we live just a couple of hours away--running up to this wonderful Montana B&B is a lovely get away for us. Warm, comfortable, yummy food, quiet and very relaxing--just the thing for an overnight escape or a long weekend. Megan is wonderful host--feels like coming home. More

We stayed at the Candlewycke for three nights at the beginning of a long road trip, and we could not have found a better spot. Megan was the best host, and went out of her way to take care of our needs, including driving in to town before we got there to try and help us arrange for bikes to... More

This inn is outside of town in a country setting with deer visiting every day. Really a beautiful setting and the owner is very helpful with local restaurant suggestions and will also prepare evening meal, if you want. Breakfasts were unique and delicious. Very comfortable rooms. Loved it all! More

We stayed here in late August following a trip to Glacier Nat'l Park. The rooms were spacious and clean, the decor warm and inviting, and the breakfasts were unbelievably delicious. We felt as if we had dined in a gourmet restaurant. Megan was very helpful in providing advice on things to see and do! Thanks for a wonderful stay! More

This was a great location, very peaceful and quiet. I traveled with adult family members and we had the wilderness rooms which shared a bathroom. It was a perfect set up on one wing of the Inn. The breakfast was outstanding! More

We spent 3 nights in Big Fork with our twins and recommend the Candlewycke B & B. We had a lovely, spacious room right across the hall from our kids, and Megan - our Innkeeper -- gave us a comfortable folding bed (much more comfy than an old-fashioned cot), so our kids wouldn't have to sleep together. Our bed was... More
