The setting of the hotel is stunning, next to the lake and surrounded by peaks. The hotel has its own landing jetty from which boat tours leave. Rooms are simple, but clean and adequate with all facilities except television. As in most national parks the room walls are thin and you can hear noise. The hotel has an excellent restaurant... I absolutely loved our night at the lodge. So quiet and relaxing. The rooms have been modernized some but there are still very basic. But who cares! You don't want to be in your room at this lodge. The room is just for when you can't stay awake any longer and must sleep. Once outside your room you are right... More

After staying at the Many Glacier Hotel, we drove over the Going to the Sun Highway and stayed here. The location on the lake is perfect and the amenities at the main lodge are cozy rustic. The food at the lodge restaurant was good, though not fancy. The cottage rooms, where part of our party stayed, are quaint, if simple.... More

The cabins are close to the lake and cozy with few frills but you can walk to the big lodge for that. We slept like babies. More

My mom and I were very disappointed with our stay here. I was not concerned about the price but Mom preferred a cabin so I booked a small cabin for the 2 of us. As it turned out the small cabin was really a medium sized cabin divided into 4 cabins. It was extremely small, just enough room for 2... More

The beautiful old lodge is worth a stop, if for no more than to see the wonderful lobby. Most of the staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was in need of a good cleaning and some paint. They would not allow room charges for some reason, but this was a minor inconvenience. The dining experience was fair to poor... More

The "Average" rating I gave this lodging was only that high because of the front desk staff and a very good previous stay. If you can, stay in the cabins, as we did previously, or in the lodge. If you can only get the motor inn units, drive to Apgar or West Glacier. Due to an unavoidable change in itinerary,... More

My husband and I stayed in one of the cabins. We had a "large" room for $180 a night or so. The cabin was a lot like the kind I used to stay in at summer camp when I was a kid. Only this one had been divided in to four separate units. The walls are VERY thin. Our "large"... More

We stayed at the lodge and loved it. I grew up in the area but had never stayed there. The lobby was awesome with the giant fireplace and the animals. Playing in the stream with my son was fun. Beautiful views in all directions. More

Any place in Glacier National Park has terrific scenery, and the lodge is better than most with a great view across the lake. Good location for trips in the park. A convenience store sells basics. The lodge restaurant has pretty good food, although poor service, but the next closest food is back in East Glacier. The cabin itself was barely... More
