We stayed here on our way through to Yellowstone but found out this road was still closed - never mind Red Lodge is a very nice little town and had some great restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo which was nice for our kids, we all loved the fireplace and bear... More

This was our fourth time staying at the Chateau Rouge in recent years, and while we had a good time and found our unit acceptable, it was not of the same quality as other units we've had at this facility--esp. for a $150/nt. unit. As other reviewers have noted, your satisfaction may depend on your specific room, as the Chateau... More

We spent a couple of nights here while on a motorcycle trip with another couple. This is an interesting place on the outskirts of cute little Red Lodge, MT. Our condo like unit was 2 upstairs bedrooms, one small bath, a kitchen and living room with a fireplace. The staff was really friendly and nice. The unit was clean and... More

We were able to get a condo (I think it was # 209) that fit our large family (mom, dad, and 4 teenagers) . Nice that it had 3 bathrooms (only 1 with shower/tub) as it made getting ready in the morning very easy. Kids thought it was a hoot that the hotel's dumpster was visited nightly by bears looking... We were staying one night in Red Lodge for some hiking and then taking the Highway to Yellowstone. We rented a first floor studio without air conditioning. It was a good value compared to motels and B&Bs in the town. We were concerned about noise--faces road, pull in parking in front of the unit, another unit upstairs, bed next to... More

We booked over the internet while still in New Zealand and from the photos it looked very modern however it does need some updating. Each unit is individually owned so the furnishings vary in each. We had a 2 bedroom unit on the bottom floor, with a king bed in one room and 2 single beds in the other. The... More

We only stayed for one night but will definitely go back again. We had 4 children with us and the pool was the hit. They had it to themselves all night. We stayed in #209 and it was so wonderful. The full kitchen was completely stocked-even a toaster, microwave, and standard sized oven and fridge. The fireplace made it very... More

We stayed at this hotel from Oct. 11-18. We booked it through our R.C.I. week as this is one of the very few R.C.I. units that are pet friendly. We made the 3 day drive from Atlanta with our 2 small dogs in tow and having stayed in R.C.I. units in the past 20 years we were somewhat expecting the... More

We stayed in a studio with full kitchen. These apartments are individually owned, so it's the luck of the draw. Ours was excellently furnished with moose and bear motifs on the quilt and cushions, and an extremely well-furnished kitchen. Air-conditioning functioned fine. There was a large dining table and four chairs, chest of drawers, closet and desk as well as... More

After driving over the Beartooth Highway we spent the night at Chateau Rouge in Red Lodge. The manager was very nice. We has a studio condo on the second floor. The stairway leading up to the second floor was very dark, day and night, and the porchway leading to the rooms was dingy, with dirty carpet and dried bird droppings... More
