It was a good stay for a first-timer in Vegas. Hotel is good and pool area is adequate. Going up the tower was great. Would try the attractions next time. Food in the breakfast buffet was really good though not free of charge. Joined a mini poker tourney in the hotel which was fun. Has your regular assortment of gambling... More

Both the wife and I needed some time away, so I decided Vegas was it. After a lot of research and mulling places over, we decided on the Stratosphere. It was a 3 star place with a lot of favorable user reviews, so that was the place we chose. It is very much an average place, but you have to... More

Very nice hotel and casino. The rooms are very nice, big and clean. Very comfortable all in all. Easy checkout from the flat-screen. I will for sure recommend this hotel to other people, and I will for sure be back ! Don't fall for the "for 20$ you can get upgraded to the pool floor", you will just get a... More

I really liked the Stratosphere. It def is off the main strip a bit but it's very central otherwise. The Freemont experience and the far end of the strip past Mandalay are about the same distance away from Stratosphere. It's true, you may not want to walk down to the Belagio from it but you can hop on a bus... More

The location of Stratosphere sucks! It is located at a section of the strip that is very dangerous to walk at night. To walk to the attractive part of the strip you have to go past a huge stretch of dark abandoned construction sites. Therefore the only way is to take cabs. The cost of cabs easily adds $40 per... We booked it through booking.com on deal of the day and got a mega discounted price. The pool at the roof top was lively. The bed was comfortable. if you stay there, you get a Free tower trip to the top of the stratosphere. The only down side was that it is a bit isolated on the strip. More

If you are looking for something affordable, yet closer to the strip and downtown, this is ur best bet. The lounge on top of the tower was awesome. They also have a nice pool at their 8th floor. More

My husband and I recently returned from a week stay here. We were very pleased. You do have a $7.50/day resort fee but that includes unlimited visits to the top of the tower plus some other perks such as the swimming pool. We didn't swim but noticed that was a very popular hangout during the day (the pool closes at... More
