Where else on the Strip do bosses even acknowlegde 5-dollar table game players? Here, you are treated like gold. Dealers personable and fun, restaurants fantastic, atmosphere just right. Spa facilities you'd expect at a much higher-priced resort. Always a fantastic trip!

If you don't mind being off the strip; the place ain't bad. It does have a different "feel" to it - somewhere stuck between budget class hotel to a wanna be 4 star hotel. Nothing to write home about but at the same time, there is nothing to complain about given the price. We stayed here one night as we... More

Me, my wife, and parents stayed there for a memorial day weekend get away and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The beds comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent. When I went to the roulette tables throughout my time, the "dealers" or whatever you call them all were great. Great sense of humor. Which is extremely important... More

We stayed here for the duration of our most recent trip to the USA (3 weeks). We booked the hotel and then I read some of the reviews on this site, in which people complained of smoke from the casino travelling through the air vents into the rooms. I was worried. However, throughout our stay, the hotel was excellent. The... More

I stayed in this hotel just for one night as my flight to England was cancelled and British Airways put us in this hotel. It was a fabulous hotel with lots to do. It was a very clean and tidy hotel and i found it lot quieter than the one i stayed in at Ballys on the strip. The only... More

Best room you will find for the price. pool area is great with great drink service. The casino area is big but its easy to get to anywhere in it. It is quite a ways from the strip but if you have a car its fantastic. Buffet was great, steak and shake very good and cheap and the deli was... More

I tend to be a bit of a money saver! Because I knew we had car hire, I picked this place..it is about 3 miles-ish south on Las Vegas Blvd from the likes of the Bellagio etc. We paid 40$ plus tax per room..watch their website,,it's standard rate is 49$ but every month or so they have a sale rate... I frequently travel to Vegas for work (twice a month), so I've stayed all up and down the Strip-- and off it. While I'm not going to lie to you and say that the South Point is even in the same galaxy as say, the Cosmopolitan, the South Point really is a rather nice hotel. Now, the biggest draw against... We wanted a quick getaway with warm weather and pool that was family friendly and chose the South Point Hotel & Casino because they had rooms available at the last minute and were very reasonable. We stayed in a one bedroom suite (deluxe rooms were sold out) and it was perfect for our family of 4. We came prepared with... More
