This is the first time I have ever had to write an not-so-great review of a place I have stayed. Overall, the Flamingo wasn't bad.....the location was great and the staff were friendly. But there were so many things that could be improved on. I will say, the pool area was fabulous, but very crowded. The gardens were beautiful. The... More

This was my 7th trip to Las Vegas. The Flamingo is reasonably priced but don't be fooled as things such as bottled water are just as expensive as the higher end hotels. Rooms large but not the best I have stayed in. Hotel facilities are good. Plenty of shops, restaurants etc and a large casino. The pool area is good... More

Rooms old and in need of remodeling. High prices. No coffee maker.Everything very expensive.Terrible view from your window. We bought tickets months in advance for the Donnie and Marie Show. They cancelled the day before the show. Still waiting on my refund-minus shipping. I'll lose money because they decided to cancel.

Our overall experience was okay. It is not the easiest place to navigate, but all roads do lead to Margaritaville eventually! The rooms are adequate for the time one sleeps there. The bathrooms are in need of updating. The housekeeping leaves a bit to be desired. Each room is allotted two glasses and one must make a special request for... More

Well, I've been to this property numerous times. First time was at the ORIGINAL hotel which no longer exists (back where the pool and Hilton time share are located). Reasons to stay here include: --Excellent location --Great pool (arguably, 2nd best behind Mandalay Bay) --Fun atmosphere --Pet friendly --Reasonable price The "GO' rooms are quite nice, but I'll be the... We stayed in a Go Room for 2 days. These rooms have been updated and we enjoyed our stay. Bathroom was large with a TV in the mirror, very unique. Room was clean, close to elevators, and had a great view of the strip. The service was very good. The only inconvenience was construction going on around the hotel but... More

This was my first time staying at the Flamingo but I doubt it will be my last. We had a very speedy check-in, a very clean Go Deluxe room, and great customer service the entire time. My only complaint was that there were very few quick dining options. The location of the hotel was great however, so it was easy... More

The good: low price, great pool, central location on the strip, quiet room, good beds. The bad: This older hotel is going through some renovations. Our room was not one of those, and it showed the wear & tear. New MFD flooring in room (not carpet). Functional, but typically hotel rooms have carpet. Bathroom sink drain stopper didn't work so... I was at the Flamingo for a few days/nights at the end of April 2013. I was attending a conference which was being held in the hotel. It was not a very good experience. The casino is a smoking casino and the hotel is old and the smoke is into the ventilation system. Even though I had a non-smoking room,... More

Check in was a bit of wait. That's fine. The Go room shows a little age. Paint peeling and carpet needs a good wash. Room service carts sitting outside rooms for over a day is a bit odd. Pool is nice but dont expect to sit. All in all a nice room at amother hotel for more money is nice... More
