I have stayed at the Silverton a number of times for work. It has good access to the freeways and the airport. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I really like the mexican restaurant and it has some interesting items. I agree with the other reviewers that the aquarium is very impressive and it is great sitting in the bar... More

In vegas to visit daughter, we decided to stay off the strip so we didn't have to deal with the hassle of traffic. The Silverton is old but very clean. We enjoyed the restaraunts, especially the Mexican. My husband has Celiac (glutten intolerance) and the chef at the Mexican restaurant was kind enough to take time and explain how certain... More

We came to visit family and have some fun too. Didn't want the hustle and bustle of the Strip on a daily basis. Our room was beautiful. Sparkling clean, nicely decorated and very welcoming. We didn't check in until the middle of the night having visited family before hand, but we were in our room within 15 minutes of arrival,... More

My wife was going to book a room online with them and put in the wrong date by accident. When she saw this she backed out and put in another date, but it was too much so she booked somewhere else. A few days later she saw that a charge was on the credit card. She called to inquire why... More

We attended the Kelly Picklar show in the Veil Pavillion otherwise we would never have ventured this far south. We were shocked by the overall size of the resort, its convenient location to I-15 and the airport, and move over Bellagio there's Bass Pro Shop off the main lobby. Can't miss it, right next to the giant aquarium. The show... More

My husband and I really enjoy going to this casino/hotel. Our favorite bartender is Tom. He looks out for us on our trips. We usually stay 3 or 4 nights, before or after timesharing in Vegas. Our favorite dinner restaurant is Twin Creeks, I personally like the twin lobster tails. The coffee shop is great for breakfast as well as... More

I didn't get a cheap deal ,com. I called the Silverton and made my reservation. 3 Mths in advance. Told them I wanted a upper floor with a view. Nice lady said sureee. When we got there. They want to put us on ground floor. She finally put us on 2nd floor. View was a wall. I remembered this place... More

We chose this hotel for the rate ($68/night). This was a family trip with teenagers up to seniors. Very nice rooms and comfortable beds. We loved the Bass Pro Shop attached and went there daily. Enjoyed watching the football playoffs in the cool bar with (jellyfish?) tanks. Free shuttle to and from the strip at convenient times with very friendly... More

Our second visit. 1. On checking in we were asked to sign a confirmation that we would not smoke in the room. We are non-smokers. As soon as we got through the room door, I found an empty packet of cigarettes in the waste bin. This suggested either that we were being stitched up for a fine or that the... More

Checked in the day before St. Patrick's Day. The hotel was sold out. We expected a line for check in but were surprized to find none. The rooms are typical hotel fare, clean and comfortable but nothing special. Good bedding and matresses. Small bath and tub/shower. The Casino is very large with plenty of different things to do. Lots of table... More
