The hotel was awesome. Checking was made easy by Todd. He was very helpful and made everything easy and pleasant. I don't know the housekeepers name but she was very nice and a lovely woman. Lee DiGiovanni was very helpful and courteous in the bingo room. She explained everything and made it a fun experience. I will definitely recommend this... More

Had a room two floors down from the penthouse. Asked for a quiet room but instead had loud music thumping all night and into the morning. Party in the penthouse took priority over other customers sleeping. Room had thin walls. Some nice renovations were diminished with worn damaged dated doors furniture tub etc. More

First and last time I will stay here. Just a drive down the strip to get here makes one realize how run down looking the Riviera Hotelcompared to ALL others. The check in took way too long for a 'C' type hotel and have one time to see how old everything looked. The room was a pleasant surprise and we... More

My wife and I have been coming to the Riviera for that past 25 years. We are members of their loyalty club (great club). Although the hotel is over fifty years old the staff does an amazing job of making us feel at home. My home is 36 years old. My host Amy always makes me feel totally comfortable. Of... More

When booking my business stay in Las Vegas a few months ago, I knew about the Riviera, but never really considered it, especially after reading the reviews on this site. But after seeing the great deal on a booking website for airfare and a luxury room, I decided to go for it. I wasn't really going to be in my... More

After a long flight from the UK we were pleased to find there wasn't a big queue at check in. A tip of $20 to the check in guy got us a complimentary upgrate to the Monaco Tower in a really nice room with a king size bed that you literally had to climb upon! The pillow mattress topper was... More

We stay in Vegas a couple of times a year and the Riviera is a good cheap place to stay. We always have rooms by the conference centre as they are clean and quiet. Ask for a re-modelled room they have continental quilts and usually fridges. Not very central but walking distance from more expensive hotels like the Wynn and... More

This was an awful experience! My bed had a blood sheet and there were a lot of stains on the floor and the chairs had white stains. The curtain was broken. By far, this was my warst experience ever! It also took me 40 minutes just to check in. More

The hotel is located on the north part of the strip - not close to major attractions, but not far as well. That is pretty much the only good thing about the hotel. I had to wait in line for an hour and a half(!) just to check in. The line was that long from 4 PM to about 9... More

The hotel is Older (1955) and suffers from many age related issues. Staff are nice people and do their best but are handicapped by the property. Biggest negative was the steakhouse. Everything is Ala Carte. $8.00 for a potato, $3.00 more if you want cheese on it. Our waiter (did not get is name) was a slick haired salesman whose... More
