Roads are a little tight, I have a 34' Travel Trailer, Staff was helpfull & friendly, Bathrooms are Immaculate. Camp Store was well stocked and Prices were reasonable, Doughnuts and Coffe were available every morning plus they had a Pancake & Sausage Breakfast with OJ for $2.99. We spent 3 nights in a tent here last weekend and totally enjoyed our stay. They have a fenced in dog park with agility equipment (and kennels if you want to leave your dog for a few hours) they have a dog beach for them to swim and tons of walking trails to let your dog explore. The lake is horid....lots of scum in it, the camp staff who drive the golf carts around are more like over strict campus police. If you have teenagers don't go there! They can't even go to the restroom without getting yelled at after 10pm! You can not leave your site after 10pm which makes it hard for those who are... More

Stayed here over Columbus Day long weekend. Beautiful riverfront site (#48) with wood deck, new patio furniture, gas grill. Clean facilities , friendly and helpful staff. Lots of fun activities. Location is picturesque and convenient to area points of interest. One of the nicest campgrounds we have visited!

This past July, 2010, I stayed in 2 different cabins, paying close to $100 a night. The first cabin was full of spiders--so many i couldn't keep us with killing them all--had to walk around with tissues killing dozens of them each night before going to bed, and chipmunks literally ran in and out of the cabin through a tennis-ball... We stayed here with our Girl Scout Troop. Lots of fun things to do at the camp and in the area. Even Free showers! When we had trouble with our campsite because of rain/flooding, the staff was very helpful in resolving our issues. This is a great place to camp.
