Enjoyed a two-room suite with view and recommend that over traditional room ornape long lot view. Charming, reflecting years past in decor and physical facility. Higher floor preferred because the wooden floors may squeak. We were on the second floor and could hear folks on floor above though it really wasn't a distraction. If returning to the Mt Washington area... More

This is a very late review, but a few months back, (end of February), my husband and I headed up to Jackson, NH in an effort to find snow! We, of course, reviewed what trip advisor had to say about the Eagle Mountain House before booking our reservation. We took the previous reviewers advice and asked for a "quiet" room... More

If you are looking for a charming historic New England Inn experience, I highly recommend the Eagle Mountain House. The grounds overlook a beautiful mountain range. The 9 hole golf course is not in perfect condition because they do not use fertilizer in order to protect the river that runs through the course. The course is in decent shape and... More

Dear Disneygirl, Thank you for staying with us this past week and your nice comments on the hotel. As you mentioned, the views from the veranda and the golf course are fantastic. I especially like the views from the golf course along the Wildcat river. We hope you can come back and play the course later this spring-summer, with the... More

My husband and I spent a night here this month, and have nothing but good things to say about our stay. The location was perfect for us as we wanted a quiet get away, with hiking nearby. The room was very comfortable and the lobby and pub were cozy and relaxing. We'd especially like to acknowledge the staff. They were... More

Our review is based on our wonderful dining experience this past April 2012. We made our dinner reservation after reading past reviews. Though the Inn was slow due to the weather conditions, the dinner was outstanding. We were served our meal in a huge dining room with tons of nostalgia. The waitress was quick to take our drink, and then... More

We were fortunate enough to spend two glorious days at the Eagle Mt House. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more accomodating. The hotel is certainly "vintage" but beautiful, rooms are small but clean and comfortable. The view from the large and beautful dining room is breathtaking and Jackson Village with its covered bridge is a step back into... More

We just stayed in a two room suite with full american breakfast for $99 a night, how can you go wrong. The staff was excellent and they have a neat bar with comfortable seating and fireplace. The dining is an excellent experience with super wait staff and food prices are great. One thing I think they should do is put... More

This is the fourth time we have stayed here. Sometimes we have brought friends. Really not much has changed in the past ten plus years we have been coming. They have upgraded the heating system and now have gas fireplaces instead of wood in the lobby, as they had a chimney fire. Yes, it is a historic hotel with character... More

The inn is in a gorgeous setting, sits above the village of Jackson. You can actually ski down to the village. The property is beautiful, rooms are clean, but needs some updating and maybe some help with the staff. The woman at the front desk is very gruff and unfriendly, did not see her simile once! Our bartender had the... More
