We stayed for one night on the 14 th and Applebrook was great. We stayed in Valerie and the roomwas a bit small. But no problem for 2 people. The bath was small but very clean and the views were amazing. Breakfast was great and the cookies were so good. We will be back!

Cute place in the country with GREAT mountain views. The common room has 2 1/2 walls of glass that look out over the countryside and towards the mountains, it is just lovely. We stayed in the Tower room which has a turret that is used as a bed nook, very cute. It is located on the front of the house... More

Used to stay in a motel for our NH vacation...but will never do that again after this experience. Joy is a wonderful hostess...Applebrook is charming and clean. Spacious common room and dining area. DELICIOUS breakfast with homemade muffins, egg items, pancakes and fresh fruit! Great location for hiking and Santa's Village (we did both). Stayed with our 3 and 6... More

We happened upon information on this B/B in the Stash Tea Guide- looking for places to stay with great hiking around it....BINGO! What incredible luck! What wonderful, fun, and enjoyable hosts...extra touches all around, including great baked goods (the cookies and apple muffins we took along for the rest of the trip were a treat after many a wet and... Traveling with our four young kids can pose a challenge for lodging. I chose the Applebrook because we could get the entire top floor ("Granny's Attic" or somesuch name) for a reasonable rate. It was our first experience in a B&B, and WOW! The house is this huge, interesting, sprawling place; yes, the paint's chipping here and there, but it's... More

The purpose of our trip to the White Mountains was to take the kids to Santa's Village. There were 7 of us between two rooms w/ three children and we couldn't have felt more comfortable and right at home. Tom and Joy are great.....Joy's afternoon cookies are wonderful and breakfast is always served with local maple syrup....yummy. The common areas... More

I travelled from England on the 2nd November and arrived at the Applebrook on the 3rd November with my friend Aurora who is from Maine I found the place to have a certain character to it like an old world charm all of its own . The Applebrook is a beautiful old building and is beautifully furnished and comfortable and... More

My wife and I were disappointed with our stay at this location. On the positive side the reception area is lovely with plenty of comfortable seating to relax and/or socialise, the hosts were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was more than adequate. Unfortunately the experience was marred by the size/quality of our room. The room itself was dark and... More

We have been vacationing at the Applebrook for the past 4 years. We love the comfortable and homey feel Joy and Tom have created. We have young children and a dog and the accommodations for everyone is perfect. We have tried different rooms each time and enjoyed them all...from rooms with added cots to the hot tub rooms and the... More

We visit every year for the great atmosphere the McCorkhills provide--not to mention the delicious food! There is plenty for the kids to do with games in the common room, toys, books, TV with DVD/VCR, and outdoor play area. It really is a place where you feel you can make yourself at home. Plus, there's the amazing view and proximity... More
