I stayed at the Landmark on 16 & 17 May 2012 and was so impressed with the room and the service I came back and stayed there again on 21 May. It is not a luxury hotel and clearly doesn't bill itself as such. However, if you're looking for a clean, comfortable room with an adequate Continental breakfast, the Landmark... More

The Landmark Inn was initially built as a Ramada in1974 and has since been a Sheraton hotel on it's way to it's current existence. It's located at the center of Laconia - unfortunately this is part of the reason why there's hardly any center of the city left... The hotel: big room, fairly good beds, good wifi, good shover, good... More

While the staff were all very pleasant, upon arriving to our room, there was trash on the floor, under the bed, a light bulb out and a empty beer bottle in our shower. There were burn holes on our blankets, stains on the mattress box spring, and you can break into the rooms by sliding the do not disturb sign... More

We arrived late Sunday night, after driving from NYC and were greeted with a pleasant welcome. The woman at the desk was very nice and helpful, offering us extra pillows & blankets if needed. The room was clean & fresh with lots of room and other than a softer mattress than we're used to, the king size bed was a... More

We dropped in on a Saturday night for a one night reservation. The poor woman at the desk was overwhelmed with both walk-in reservations and last minute phone calls. Being the third party in line, it took us over 35 minutes to check in. After the check in and arriving at the room, we found two of the three light... More

I am picky about my hotels when I stay somewhere, and I found The Landmark Inn to be a very nice hotel. The room was exceptionally clean. The bathroom was clean, plenty of towels, soap, shampoo. The air conditioning worked great. The windows even opened so you could get a breeze. I had an upper floor room and there was... More

We booked a one-night stay at this hotel while in town for a wedding and it was completely fine. We had a nice place to stay and we saved a ton of $$ compared to other area hotels and inns. It was very basic, but it had all the amenities we were looking for and a simple continental breakfast included... More

Booked a room here for the Timberman Triathlon. It was fine--smelled a little stale (as though the lobby and room had allowed smoking for years but don't anymore), beds were a little uncomfortable, not many amenities. For a hotel of this size, I was surprised that the keys were actual keys and not electronic cards. It served its purpose for... More

Yikes - maybe I had a bad room? Compared to the other reviews, this one will seem opposite. First the Pros: availability of desk staff, WiFi connection, continental breakfast and location. Cons: lack of amenities (no hair dryer, no iron, yes shampoo but no conditioner or body lotion - these are basics that one comes to expect in hotel rooms... More

The staff did a good job of explaining the local necessities - restaurants, laundromat, etc. The WIFI did not work one morning, but other than that the room was clean, the breakfast items were fresh and I had no problem with parking. Reasonable accomodations for the price. More
