From the outside this hotel looks like a standard road-side motel - parking in front of rooms with all doors on exterior. excellent value. very clean, very well-kept, comfortable rooms. relatively quiet for a hotel on a major thoroughfare. quite convenient to downtown portsmouth (but not walking distance). pleasant staff.

We went in portsmouth to be close of the sea and we found a nice friendly place. We were quiet and the workers were very nice. I recommand it. The bed was confortable, the service room was good and I don't know about the breakfast but it was looking good!

Near the row of roundabout big-name hotels, the Port Inn is the best alternative to the chains. Good sized rooms for a good price and I've always had great service there. Its a much more relaxing stay.

Strongly recommended for homey style staying close to the city center. Staff are great and extremely friendly. prices are super reasonable. Kitchenette stoido room are so good for longer staying. Parking spaces are available and free. Breakfast is good and coffee is all day long.
