Just stayed 2 nights over memorial day weekend. It was our second time but first time in the summer. Some of the rooms can be small but all in all we love the hotel. Very historic feel with all modern amenities and lots of unique things to do for families. We planned to go to Santas Village but resort had... More

We ate at the resturant and toured the grounds. The place is just gorgeous. Highly recommended.

Our recent two day stay at MVG was hugely satisfying. We were pleasantly surprised at the friendly, responsive service, the amazing surroundings, the creative, interesting activity program geared to different age groups and interests, and so much more. Ms. Baker's activities were unique, and the fact that many of the offerings are inclusive will be the "difference that makes the... More

They put us in one wing of the hotel on the first floor. The rooms were so grossly misstated, it was small with dirty carpets and an even mustier smelling closet. They boasted a gorgeous mountain view only to be hindered by the ugly and outdated window/window screens and panes. I wanted to leave right away when they couldn't upgrade... More

My husband and I came here for our 1st anniversary. We purchased a groupon and we're slightly concerned it was going to be a little dissapointing. We were wrong! It was absolutly gorgeous there. We were welcomed by a very friendly and helpful staff, which set a great first impression. We found our room to be small but very nice.... More

This was our honeymoon, and everything was spectacular. When we pulled up to the resort the views are just spectacular. The hotel has this cool 81yr old fashioned elevator that is operated by a bellman. The room we had was a King studio and the beds were so comfortable, and had feather pillows, very comfortable, slept like a baby. We... More

My wife I spent mother's day weekend at the Mountain View Grand. It is one of those wonderful old hotels in northern NH built years ago for the wealthy to get out of the city during the summer and holidays. This one was newly renovated about 10 years ago and they did a wonderful job to bring it back. It... More

The only redeeming quality of this property is the view and fresh Mountain air. Rooms are bla. Dining is depressing. spa is GROSS. An attic with old dingy and dirty everyting. The robe was so stained and pilly it actually make me feel dirty to put it on. Spa staff needs training on customer service they refused to do a... More

Spent one night at the Mountain View a few weeks ago, our first time there. The resort has a lot to offer -- spa, golf, tennis, hiking, snowmobiling in winter. Though we were visiting in May, not really the season in northern NH, there was a nice crowd so we didn't feel lonely. Our room, while small was nicely appointed.... More

We stayed at the Mountain View Grand this past weekend for the first time. We were in the area to go to the auction at The Balsams on Sat. May 12th. We have driven by the MVG many times on our way to The Balsams but had never been inside. It was a very nice resort. Loved the large front... More
