We found this hotel as we were driving from Philadelphia area to Poughkeepsie, NY doing a college tour trip. We were exhausted and needed some restful sleep. The lovely young woman at the front desk was able to find some milk for my daughter while I was able to buy a glass of wine from the on-site bar.

The hotel is located near highway 287, Costco and Target. I stayed on the first floor, there was always a chlorine smell from the pool in the room. No restaurant onsite, very basic hotel, not worth the price they charge for the room.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn because it was near the PATH station to get to the Prudential Center in Newark. It provided easy access to shopping, food, and mass transit. Stayed in this hotel during my 17 day workvisit at New Jersey. Friendly, Clean, with a very good breakfast service. Champers always nicely cleaned and a good internet connection.

Rooms a nice size (although my non smoking room did smell of smoke). Facilities ok. Bar quite soul-less and not much fun. Need a car to go out for food etc. but there are a couple of shops within walking distance.

I was a bit put out that I wasn't directly across from the office (there was another chain hotel there), but once I got settled in, I was VERY pleased. The staff was warm and welcoming, the room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel highly!
