We loved our one-night stay at Captain Mey's in August 2011. We stayed here the day after our wedding, and we just loved how accommodating they were for that time of year. I called probably 20+ B&B's to see if they would do a one-night stay on a Saturday night, but because it was high season, none were accommodating except... More

We stayed one Sunday night at this B&B over Columbus day weekend. We found the owner Rita to be friendly and easy going. The price couldn't have been better and the room was spotless clean and beautifully decorated in the victorian style The room was of average size with a queen bed however, I thought the mattress was way to... Decided to take a mini vaca with my fiance, and this was the wrong place to take it. First there was nobody here when we arrived at 2:30 pm. Then she asked my fiance to sign paperwork that contained his c/c information(as well as address & phone number. She told us she would be back shortly. We left only to... More

We spent 2 nights here in July 2011 (and in 2010). A wonderful little place and very convenient to the beach and the shopping/dining areas of Cape May. A great price for this generally expensive resort town and includes parking, beach chairs and a nice continental breakfast. The rooms are small but nice. This year our room (the Queen Beatrix)... Spent three nights at the Capt. Mey's B&B in Cape May, NJ. A great value and location, very close to the Washington Mall. About 2 1/2 blocks to the beach, complimentary beach chairs, towels, bicycles also available. Nice basic continental breakfast (very nice sitting on the big front porch), cozy comfortable rooms, all in all, a good value for a... More

Very centrally located with the beach 2 blks. away and in the other direction 2 blocks was the Washington Mall. Lovely innkeeper, Rita, who couldn't be more accomodating. Family helped Mom run the Inn and also did an excellent job. A very clean B and B. This is our 2nd time staying here with the first being 2 yrs. ago

We wanted a get away weekend. We found it. The inn was very quaint, the front porch was awsome to sit on and drift away. We really enjoyed the staff, they always tried to make us feel at home.

This quaint bed and breakfast is in a great location. The staff went over and above to ensure all of our needs were met. They provided a comfy cozy atmosphere with an attentive staff. Great value for the dollar too. I would highly recommend this bread and breakfast if you are looking for a great getaway in a prime location

The porch is big and beautiful. Landscaping lovely and our room was just grand. Rita, the owner, is the sweetest, most concerned lady and always makes us feel welcome.

The location is great. This inn just misses the details! Cat on premises and they never mention that on the website or when we booked. This would have been helpful since I am allergic to cats and we would not have stayed there. The William of Orange room was nice, but the bed felt like it was going to fall... More
