Hotel was a good base for a quick visit to NYC area. Only some of the many planes using the airport were loud enough and close enough to be noticed. Lots of pilots and crew seem to use this hotel. Clean and comfortable.

Not a great location, nothing too fancy, run of the mill. But the staff went out of their way to make sure you were comfortable, happy and productive. From the manager, to reception to the man delivering the cot. All top notch Marriott employees. Thanks.

I have stayed at the Courtyard several times and always have a great experience. It is located less than 10 minutes from Newark Airport and they offer complimentary shuttle service. Relatively easy to locate on one side of the Newark airport; check in wait was a little long until second person came out of office. We stayed at this property in March 2012. Check in process was smooth and staff very friendly. Rooms very nice and comfortable. There is a little airplane noise but that's to be expected with the location. Location accross from Jersey Gardens Mall is good. Airport Shuttle great and on time. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here two nights and had no hot water either morning. When we inquired, we were told each time that they were "working on it" and that it was the boiler. There was no comp or even a "sorry for the inconvenience". Overall the hotel property is decent, but our experience was disappointing.
