I stayed here only because a trip came up suddenly, and other area hotels were booked--which tells you something right there. The price was $249. While not exactly dirty, the place also wasn't exactly clean. It smelt. Breakfast was marginal. It basically looked as if it hadn't been paint, the carpet replace etc. since opening in the 1970s. Also, my... More

I just spent 3 miserable nights there. Charged 417.00 which I consider scalping based on need due to Hurricane Sandy. Dirty, unfriendly, notes on tables to clean up after yourself or pay $2.00. Towels like sandpaper, carpets never vacuumed...dirty when I got there. Looked for someplace else to stay but everywhere full. Maybe if I paid $50 a night I... More

I'll start with the "positive". The people at the front desk were very friendly. That's really the only nice thing I have to say about this place. I did pay only $50 for the room, so I can't imagine why I was expecting more. The first room I went in was dark, dingy, smelly and quite frankly, dirty. I checked... More

My parents and I went to stay At the Madison Suites in Somerset just yesterday to spend one day overnight. First of all it smelled and you could see mold growing on the wall were the chair was trying to cover it. We had to get another room but while also it smelt musty in there. We decided to put... More

I stayed here for about a week in May 2010. I got a decent deal (~$45/day) for a spacious twin room with two separate beds. I stayed alone but the other bed came in handy for keeping open clothes and stuff. Fortunately, there was no bed-bug issue as was the case with some of the other hotels in the area.... More

We actually got confused and thought we were booking the Madison Hotel (a really good hotel) in Morristown, NJ. We told the lady while booking that we would be late as my husband could leave only after work. When we were having a late dinner at a restaurant about an hour away from the hotel, I checked my messages at... More

I'm not really sure what rooms those giving positive reviews stayed in. Because I stay at many hotels, and I understand the normal "wear and tear" in this industry and I'm also very aware of which accomodations can or cannot be guaranteed. But, unfortunately, I will never stay at this particular hotel ever again, even if it is offered for... More

The room was damp, bed was damp and all our clothes were damp. We checked out a day early rather than staying another night. Dust all over room furniture. Would not stay here again.

We are staying in the hotel as we speak. To start off I was extremely wary of staying here because of the reviews; unfortunately most of them were right. I booked a king non-smoking bi-level suite. I called a week prior to our check in to verify the reservation and insure I had a non-smoking room. When we arrived everything... More
