The hotel itself is OK, staff is nice, location is OK, BUT be prepared.. the doors are closed after aprox 10 at night, so if you are planning a late arrival, it's very possible that you will not get in till next morning. The room has a fridge, TV and coffee machine (everything old, but OK), however no plastic cups... More

I recently stayed in Unit #305 at the Cara Mara and it was fantastic. The floor is new, couch is new and all freshly painted. There's a flat screen in the living room and a small tv in the bedroom. Reviewing my trip from August 2012. Cara Mara is located in Wildwood Crest, directly across from Centennial Park. Overall it was average…not bad and not the best. If you're looking for a hotel with all the guidos in jersey, then stay here. It's a great location, but horrible parking. And if you have a truck like my husband does then forget it. People were obnoxious, drunk and partying all night. Rooms didn't have tvs in them, only the "kitchen" attached did. Wouldn't recommend.
