I stayed in one of the cottages for 2 months and i just didn't want to leave ... Everything about this place is perfect !!!! Lovely owners, smiling and tidy cleaners, helpfull gardeners (especially for the bbq) and adorables cats !!!! The cottage is peacefull and fully furnished, with your own barbecue ... Really close to town, you can do... More

We stayed for 3 nights and the entire family was very happy! Thanks to the hospitality of the owners and the beautiful lush gardens and very comfortable cottages we had the feeling of being at home away from home. Our family members from Switzerland expressed the same feeling. Wow!! I recommend this place to young and old.

The ground and the setting is lovely. The accommodation is very dated, run down and dirty. No evidence of maintenance on the accommodation for many years. Whilst the bedding and towels were clean, they were very old. The kitchen, veranda and lounge were dusty on arrival, with limited service throughout our stay.

This place was really amazing, and one of the best deals we had on our whole trip. We paid 1000 for a large, lovely 2 bedroom cottage. At this price and having read some of the reviews, I was worried it would be a bit icky and run down, but it is NOT at all. It is beautiful, clean, modern... More

We had a two bedroom two bathroom cottage at the end of the road. Very quiet and comfortable. It may not be a five star selfcatering cottage but it got the job done. It was clean and definitely not run down or stuffy as some of the other reviews have claimed it to be. The cottages are all very close... More

It is with hesitation that I am writing this review purely because I don't want this place to be fully booked the next time we come to stay here. Myself and my partner stayed here purely by accident as the place we booked originally was too small. Both owners went above and beyond in making us feel welcome. The cottage... More

We loved the cosy cottages, the absolutely gorgeous setting, the peace (and amazing night-time noises) and definitely could have stayed longer. Having read the comments below, yes - it's not new and shiny, but if you're not bothered about having all the mod cons, I don't think you could beat it for location, price and friendly welcome.

As part of a large group we were allocated a two bedroom chalet in beautiful gardens with swimming pool. The bedrooms were a bit dark and tired but clean and beds comfy. The living and kitchen area was light and large and there was also a veranda onto the garden. Nice swimming pool with loungers, swinging chair and resident cats... More

This lodge is set in a beautiful setting surrounded by lovely gardens against a backdrop of mountains. It was within easywalking distance of the town centre shops and restaurants whilst still feeling like it is in the countryside, overall a great location. The owners were friendly. I was with a group of 11 friends and we stayed in various of... More

We stayed with our two kids on the recommendation read from Lonely Planet and whilst price is always on our mind for a family of 4, it should not undermine the cleanliness and customer service. The cottage had not been aired up for sometime and could have done with a good dusting/hoovering. The kitchenware and appliances are old and overused,... More
