So all I hear from all industry players, employees, clients and friends is how awesome Babylonstoren and this loud "ouh" you have not been yet?... tiring really... So I book and go to experience it and I go "ouh" why did I not go there yet? Babylonstoren is AMAZING! The staff are fabulous, the rooms are so simple, yet trendy... More

Babylonstoren is incredible. It is hard to describe the combination of the beautiful setting, the tastefully restored old farm buildings, the decor, the gardens and the friendly staff. All of which comes together to make for an unforgettable experience! To cap it all there is an authenticity to the fact that it is a real working farm and the vegetables,... More

There is so much to say about this place. If you travel a lot you get to see many beautiful places and if it ranks in the top 5% of the best there is really not much that can differentiate the properties. One thing that can set you apart from the competition is your service and this is exactly what... More

I've been to many Wine Farms in the Cape but this is, in my opinion better than most as it offers so much more. It has a huge vegetable and fruit garden, beautifully laid out and well maintained. We went for Saturday lunch and as the main restaurant was fully booked we had lunch in their Green House Tea Room.... More

Yup, I've been to several vineyards now but this one is by far the BEST! First, it's not just vineyards; rather, acres and acres of fruit orchards, vegetable gardens, animal farms, etc. It's perfect for children as they can run out and about! The restaurant, Babel, is the BEST farm to table restaurant I have EVER visited! Talk about fresh... More

This place has a great website very easy and got me excited for our trip there! The service was overall good, but what you would expect it did not blow us away. The food and garden concept was fun and we enjoyed it, the cost is s little more expensive then I thought. Overall the experience was good but not... More

I almost wish I wasn't writing this review because I'd like to keep Babylonstoren as a secret all for myself! But, this is one secret too good not to share. In addition to the gardens, scenery and food which, as you have already researched, is phenomenal, few have mentioned the service one can expect. To Rachel, Jackie, Jonathan, Adele, Candice... More

My partner and I have just left after a 2 night stay which, honestly, was not enough. I had read some of the negative comments on here and wasn't sure what to expect so I was absolutely blown away by the place. I have no idea what some people expect being on a farm from the 1600's. The cottages are... More
