I spent a night here in early April 2012 for R700 (single). The room was extremely large and comfortable, bathroom too (double shower & tub), beautiful swimming pools (there are 3), great breakfast, delightful town all round set in astonishingly beautiful surrounds. Charles definitely makes it. Could easilt have stayed a few days.

What potential this property has -- and perhaps the genial owner, Charles Roux, has ambitious plans, although none were mentioned. We stayed a few times in Prince Albert, but this was our first time at the Bergkant lodge. We loved it, the friendly professional welcome and the quiet admosphere. The lodge has three pools for 9 rooms so there is place, peace and quiet for everbody. The breakfast is served at the poolside completing the pleasant stay
