Our sea view room was exquisite. The four poster bed and the lamps were all quite romantic. The loo gave us a feeling of a nature resort. There is a nice patio outside the room for drinking, playing board games or just chilling. The resort is very close to the airport. All the basic amenities are provided, except a hair...

It is a little expensive but a great place to stay. Very nice bungalows, good private beach and friendly service. Wlan should be available in every bungalow not only in the restaurant. The restaurant is very nice and the food is delicious. It is not far out of town. Taxi from the airport costs arround 11000 VND

Why did I love this place so much? Because it really made me relax. I totally felt "on holiday".
It's a quiet & cute boutique resort put together with a whole lot of taste.
Thankfully it keeps away from the 'corporate' style of resort and uses rustic charm instead. I found it very stylish indeed.

As you'll see from the photos uploaded, this is a pretty resort, on the beach with nice sunloungers, grounds and rooms and a decent breakfast. So it might seem a little harsh to give it a 2 out of 5, but I'm afraid there's very little atmosphere and the service really lets the place down and left us with a...

This resort was the perfect mix of creature comforts and local rustic charm. Lovely thatch roof bungalows in a gorgeous tropical garden. Amazing beach with plenty of loungers and palapas. Restaurant was one of the best on the beach and great value. If you need a pool and satellite tv, this is not the place for you, but relaxing beach...

After checking about more than 8 resorts along LongBeach, Phu Quoc, we decided to stay at Mai House which offered the best value for money. The resort is set into a beautiful garden with 29 bungalows starting from 75 USD in low season to more than 100 USD in high season. The owner a French-Vietnamese couple is very nice and...

When reading previous reviews I was concerned that Mai House would be in the centre of action at Long beach and that it would be expensive. Both of these things turned out to be unfounded. The so called “bustling” strip of Long Beach is actually a fairly undeveloped area with a few hotels, restaurants and a huge empty nightclub complex...

A quick run-down of our time with Mai House:
-We corresponded via e-mail for our booking. Gerard (French owner) was always extremely, extremely prompt and met our needs. Their e-mail is maihouseresort@yahoo.com .
-Mai House has beautiful bungalows, and some of them offer AC (which is what we opted for). The beds are large and comfortable for SE Asian standards....

the location, being right on the beach is great, and there are plenty of sun lounges to relax on. the breakfast was great, but we didn't think the food was anything special otherwise (and slightly overpriced) - the night markets in town had much better food, and cheaper also.
the only disappointing thing was that there was not a lot...
