Where to start - the average overall rating has more to do with our determination to enjoy holidays no matter what. From the beginning - no car to meet us at the airport - when I queried this, the (unsmiling) receptionist claimed that the hotel did not know when I was arriving - in spite of the confirmation e mail... I spent most of my time in the room killing mosquitoes. They were shocking. Nets would be good. Beachside, in my case, meant facing the bar, which was beachside. A little noisy. The restaurant was lovely, the breakfast really good, and the service and cleanliness superb. It was a short taxi ride into town at night, or a walk in... More

First impression was nice place friendly staff, dealt with us with the minimum of fuss. The bell boy showed us to our room and explained everything even down to how the safe worked, or so we thought. The switch for the hot water system had been covered by the hand towels, so the first night was a cold wash until... More

We loved almost everything with our 10 days stay at this hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely beach- the best on Long beach according to us. Wonderful shadow from the Palms. Clean and big rooms. Silence at night. A wonderful garden. The only negative thing I can come up with is the breakfast beeing a bit boring after a week... More

Stayed here for three days at the end of a 2wk trip from Hanoi down. We had two bungalows one for us and one for our two boys age 19 and 20yrs. Our bungalow 419 was set back behind the beachfront row but still had beachviews, one thing is that when you sit in the deckchairs provided on your deck,... More

The bungalows are very pleasant with peaceful and tranquil evenings. The beach is not crowded and no hawkers bothering us. lazing on the beach with the occasional swim is very nice at this location. The staff were pleasant but obviously lacked training. A seafood chowder I ordered was brought from the kitchen from the other end of the resort by... More

We stayed in a room in the main building, not a bungalow and the room was fine if a bit tired. Couple of odd things about the room - Glass panal over the door let loads of light in at night from the corridor with no way of shutting it out. We ended up taping a couple of free maps... More

Nice beach, although quite crowded. Good pool. Beach and pool towels provided. Hotel rooms what you would expect for the price: clean, tv with English channels, aircon. Small safe. Water not always hot. Reasonably comprehensive breakfast (though no fresh juice, pastries, yoghurt and limited fresh fruit). Frankly, nothing to justify the cost above other places unless you're desperate for tv... More

A travel agent in Ho Chi Minh booked a prepaid 5 day stay during the first week of 2012. She advised us that the resort was "good" and her rate was 35% less than the $130 posted on the web. Obvious, her standard was low. The resort is ancient and worn; with no air conditioning in the lobby; and no... More
