We booked this Bed & Breakfast due to the outstanding reviews we read in advance - we're certainly not fussy but what we found upon arrival slightly differed from former guests experiences. First of all, the rooms - beautiful as they were - had a little ant problem. It appeared to be a permanent, not a temporary problem, as it... More

The website of the silver adobe inn promises a lot,but what a deception ! The garden was shabby, there were no comfortable places to sit. The room was dark, it smelled dusty, due to the dirty carpet and the heater made a lot of noise. We heard eveything from the adjacent room. There was not much privacy, and the owners were... More

a dark room with dirty carpets and a noisy airco, and a shabby garden. The host and hostess were too present, but could not give any suggesting for sightseeing. The breakfast was terrible. To expensive for what we got. More

Don't try to get there at night! It is almost impossible to find in the dark. The fire station landmark is very obvious during the daytime, but otherwise..... Loved the river side location. Nice to sit outside in the sun and read. Furry slippers provided, good for the concrete floor in the bedroom. Excellent shower head, lovely towels, & good... More

The rooms are in rustic cabins constructed as an extension to an adobe building behind cotton wood trees on the bank of the San Juan river. It is a country setting within the Farmington city limits. Our room was well and tastefully furnished, everything in good order. Our hosts were most charming and helpful, and we enjoyed our breakfast-time conversations.... More

Everything we needed was at our fingertips. Good balance of privacy and community. Room was well appointed. Breakfast was fantastic, healthy and plentiful. Had delightful and inquisitive conversation at breakfast with the owners, who are fascinating. The B&B is ideally located with a wonderful, secluded view of the San Juan river. From the B&B you can't tell in your in... More

If you are visiting the Four Corners area then believe me, you want to stay here. The Silver River Adobe Inn is conveniently located to Durango, Colorado, Mesa Verde National Park, Shiprock and the Aztec Ruins. Also worth a stop is the Farmington bookstore/coffeeshop/cafe "Andrea Kristina" and the "Hiway Grill" for a burger and fries. You many not want to... More

The Inn is set back from the road alongside a surprisingly big river. The natural setting is beautiful and the architecture of the house is unique and lovely. Everything was very clean and our hosts were friendly. There were only two problems preventing a 5-star rating: the water was either scalding or freezing, making a good shower impossible, and the... We stayed at the Silver River Adobe Inn for two nights in the middle of a two week adventure in New Mexico and Colorado. It was the perfect place to slow down for a couple of days and recharge for the rest of our trip. The inn was cozy and the food divine! And yes, you really do have to... More

The best part of staying here was the friendly owners.David was very chatty and like the previous reviewers we enjoyed a long chat over breakfast and he recommended places for us to go locally. The room was very comfortable much needed after days of camping! It was good to have a mini kitchen as well.Breakfast was nice- waffles and blueberry juice.... More
