My family traveled through 7 states and stayed at a variety of places. Though this was the cheapest place we stayed, it was by far the best. We just happen to drive up on it. Very clean, very comfortable beds. We looked for microtels in every place we stayed, but didn't find them. A+

Raton, New Mexico is not exactly everyone's choicest destination; however, Microtel Raton makes life on the road slightly better. Economical. Clean. Decent sleep. Plus the standard continental breakfast (not the greatest, though). Situated near I-25 and adjacent to a McDonald's, this inn is similar to Super 8 and other budget digs. A good choice in a two-star town.

Very nice hotel, very clean, but the staff does not follow directions at all! I left belongings in my room and directions were not followed. We wanted a resonable clean place to stay. This was so pleasant! We are returning on our trip home! Clean, comfortable, nice towels and the staff was wonderful and friendly. We felt genually welcome, they even make late night soup. Highly recomended.

Really nice room with a view of the mountains, desk clerk helpful recomended a nice place to eat. overall experience was nice. Will stay there again next year.

Stayed here for an overnight trip just passing thru. Glad we did! Room was clean, hotel very quiet. Comfy beds, large room. Great price for the night too!
